This score received its premiere performance at the Sydney University Orchestral Composers' Workshop, conducted by Antony Walker in July 1992 and recorded by the Australian Film, Television & Radio School.

This winning entry in the 1995 ABC Composer's Competition was recorded by the TSO under Richard Mills and premiered by the SSO under Leif Sundstrup.

"Unity", a setting of Kevin Gilbert's poem, was commissioned by the Dept of School Education NSW Performing Arts Unit for performance by combined choirs & orchestra.

"The Dreaming Land" was commissioned by the Dept. of School Education NSW Performing Arts Unit. It comprises three songs: "Desert Dawn", "Galah Song" and "Aflow".

"Eternity" was commissioned in 2000 for performance by 19 Sydney College choirs with orchestra, at St Mary's Cathedral, Sydney, conducted by Ben McPherson.

Commissioned by Ars Music Australis for the centenary of Australia's Federation, "A dream only just begun" is based on Peter Skrzynecki's poem, "Didgeridoo".

In 2001, I went snorkelling at Clovelly Beach, in Sydney, Australia. The trip inspired me to write a piece for orchestra about the mysterious things that dwell in the deep sea.

"Huge Earth" is big music about the awe-inspiring magnitude of the Earth, "bigger than we can possibly imagine, held together as if by string or magic". Text by Luke Davies.

"Midnight Mass" was commissioned by Father Arthur Bridge for premiere in 2007 at St Patrick's Church, Blacktown, NSW. The Mass setting includes some traditional carols.

This work was commissioned for premiere performance by Barry Cockroft (sax) & the Scottish Chamber Orchestra @ World Saxophone Congress XVI in St Andrews, Scotland.
