Roland Robinson

"The Dreaming Land" was commissioned by the Dept. of School Education NSW Performing Arts Unit. It comprises three songs: "Desert Dawn", "Galah Song" and "Aflow".

"Eternity" was commissioned in 2000 for performance by 19 Sydney College choirs with orchestra, at St Mary's Cathedral, Sydney, conducted by Ben McPherson.

"Araluen" (for SATB choir) was commissioned by St Peters Chorale (QLD). Roland Robinson's text describes a gold-rush shanty town in southern NSW, Australia.

"Waratah" (for SATB choir, brass and percussion) was commissioned in 2001 by Sydney Philharmonia Choirs for premiere performance at the Sydney Opera House.

"The Blue Gum Forest" (for a cappella SATB choir and bass baritone) was commissioned in 2009 for the 60th Australian Intervarsity Choral Festival, Hobart, Tasmania.
