Composer’s Note
Serenade for a Summer Wedding, for string quartet, was composed in 2003 especially for performance upon the occasion of the wedding of my sister, Susan, to her fiancé, Mark.
The premiere performance was given by The Cambridge String Quartet, led by Mr Michael Goldstein, on Saturday 20th December, 2003.
